Calendula flower, derived from the Calendula officinalis plant (commonly known as Pot Marigold), is a cheerful and vibrant bloom with a long history of use in both traditional medicine and skincare. When the petals are harvested and cut, they are commonly used for making soothing teas, infusions, and topical preparations.
Calendula is a excellent digestive support, as it has anti-inflammatory properties.
To prepare as a tea:
- 1-2 teaspoons dried cut calendula flowers (petals)
- 8 ounces (1 cup) hot water
- Optional: Honey, lemon (for internal use)
